Friday the 13th in the Month of November - Thanksgiving

The Pondering Man & Random Thoughts begins on Friday the 13th in the month of November 2020.

For my first post, since it is both Friday the 13th and in the month of November, I would like to start with a horror filled list of things for which I am thankful.  It's not meant to be fact, fiction or conspiracy theory. Though perhaps it will solicit some further thoughts.  Please read ahead responsibly. . .

13.  Thank you, Bill Gates for releasing the China Virus (Corona Virus / CoVID 19) on the world in November 2019. Eerily one year prior to the US election and shortly after a trade deal with China (October 11, 2019) that would cause big pain to big tech.

12. Thank you, Nancy Pelosi for unleashing an albatross through a “trumped” up impeachment starting on December 18th.

11. Thank you, China Virus for being a legitimate threat the world over.  Cases beginning in November 2019 and known to be a potential pandemic level threat by December 2019. (https://www.bbc.com/news/world-52573137)

10. Thank you, China Virus for spreading to the point of national shut downs across the globe resulting in people staying in doors in quarantine, sheltering in place, watching the news and tuning into social media.

9. Thank you, Mark Zuckerberg and Facebook for changing policies to enable you to limit free speech, spread the stories that fit your worldview while minimizing and censoring stories that provided healthy counter-narratives worthy of conversation in country with Free Speech as it’s first amendment (check out: https://www.foxnews.com/tech/murky-messaging-facebook-allowed-death-to-america-advertising-but-censors-u-s-back-to-work-rallies; also dating back to at least March 7, 2019: https://www.prweek.com/article/1578252/facebook-announces-overhaul-privacy-policies; and then further yet in October 1, 2020: https://www.fastcompany.com/90546700/facebook-update-to-our-terms-october-2020-heres-what-that-weird-message-is-all-about#:~:text=%E2%80%9CEffective%20October%201%2C%202020%2C,'%E2%80%9D)

8. Thank you, democratic party and democratic supporters for paying the Associated Press to fabricate a compelling, targeted narrative to sway the American voters through an excruciating preponderance of Yellow Journalism with just enough truth to make it believable.

7. Thank you, Black Lives Matter for unleashing Antifa and political terrorism on innocent American citizens and around the world. (Please research this on your own to see what the people who lead these organizations really stand for and how they live).

6. Thank you, Black Lives Matter and Antifa for looting America, taking over several blocks of several cities, inciting fear and terror around the world, tearing down historical landmarks while disrespecting the lives and sacrifices of the men and women they represent.

5. Thank you, 1619 project for attempting to further redact history to undermine the ideals of American forefathers and early settlers who sought disallow slavery but were forced to accept it under Britain’s rule.  By the time the American settlers had declared their independence, slavery was unfortunately too established. However, the Republican’s fought for the freedom of slaves and its abolishment.

4. Thank you, friends, family and citizens of America (and perhaps a few others) who voted for Joe Biden.  He, from my point of view, displays behaviors of a pedophile and has five decades of service with nothing but corruption in its wake.  The man does not even prepare his own speeches and often is unable to even read them from the teleprompter.  (Jon Meacham wrote it: https://thehill.com/homenews/campaign/525166-historian-jon-meacham-wrote-biden-soul-of-america-speech-report)

3. Thank you, friends, family and citizens of America (and perhaps a few others) who voted for Kamala Harris.  She has been known to be ruthless, calculating and a proponent towards the legalization of prostitution which, when left to ordinary logic, advances human trafficking and supports the objectification of women.  “Kamala Harris - an excellent  role model for young girls.” (Again you may research this one on your own).

2. Thank you, Joe Biden for telling the truth and no one even pays attention to it because it must be related to early signs of dementia setting in, or momentary inability to speak a coherent sentence. And I quote, Joe Biden: “(We have) the most extensive and inclusive VOTER FRAUD organization in history.” (Yes, the Associated Press worked hard to say this was taken out of context, but he said it nonetheless).

1. Thank you, 2020 for being such a great year.  Now, we begin to look forward and ask: What turmoil will overtake us in 2021?

Happy Friday the 13th everyone!

Pondering Common Core

*Image by Amerigus  Shocking:  America continues to except ‘common’ as the word that describes its educational system. America was founded on exceptional thought and consideration. America is uncommon in it’s choice of government and bill of rights to it’s citizens that in many ways expands around the globe. From the people who spread the ideals of freedom prior to 1776, to those who fought to secure America’s Independence, and those who fought for a more perfect union, the essence of America is far from common.   Yet, our educational system continues it’s aim to reduce everyone to commonness.   Furthering my research and delving into the common core web site for more information and understanding, I am appalled to read the following:   The composite standards [of Hong Kong, Korea and Singapore] have a number of features that can inform an international benchmarking process for the development of K–6 mathematics standards in the U.S. First, the composite standar...

pondering - ELECTIONS - Odd Truth

Odd Truth : The US Presidency is not the most Important Election. The Most Important Elections are related to those who actually have the greatest power - those in Congress. We could have a dumb president and the country would mostly get along just fine. But the moment we have a  Dumb Congress , no  Smart President  can fully save the day. Trump definitely exposed the width, breadth, depth and  putridity  of the  SWAMP . Unfortunately, America voted for the majority of them. America  needs  to vote better and really work and push to have a fair, open, honest and free election. Don't ever think that a Representative or Senator is a small election with little consequence. Every elected official contributes to how our country leans, works with or wars against others. We need to elect people who will understand, they are not there to be served by us, but they are there to serve and represent  US(A) .

pondering the DEATH PENALTY

Of late, I have seen many Facebook posts pushing a statement for the end of the death penalty. In a perfect world, where no one ever commits a heinous deadly crime, I would say, ‘Yes, we don’t need a death penalty.’ However, in our world, where crime and hate run rampant, I believe there should be a death penalty heinous deadly crimes.   One of the posts that I find most appalling is this one:   “The death penalty is not about whether people deserve to die for the crimes they commit. The real question of capital punishment in this country is, Do we deserve to kill?”   ― Bryan Stevenson, Just Mercy: A Story of Justice and Redemption This particular quote has a very low view of humanity and suggests that we the people who have not committed a heinous deadly crime should lower our heads in shame and ask ourselves, “do we deserve to kill?”   This is extremely bad logic and a poor way to look at and respond to heinous deadly crimes.   We have law because people encro...
