Hello all, I Just wanted to post some Thanksgiving thoughts. Since, it seemed so popular on FaceBook for folks to go through the Alphabet and say what they were thankful for each day leading up to Thanksgiving, I decided why not do it all at once.  And so without being overly serious, sentimental, funny, nor political, I will use the Alphabet to share some of things for which I am thankful. For the sake of time, I will aim to keep each one short and focus on the first person, place, thing or idea that comes to mind.   A Aaron - my brother. The best brother I have ever had.  If you by chance read this, hope you and yours have a Grateful Thanksgiving.   B Ben / Benjamin - my very own name, I have to say I think it's one of the best names on the planet. Perhaps I am biased.   C Cars - I'm privileged to have two aging vehicles that are fully paid for and which give me something to fiddle with when they are running.  D Dad - my dad, my wife's dad ...

'URGENT NEED'.  You know, security breach schemes - phishing, vishing and the like, as well as marketing schemes, will often put its target on the spot. They intentionally make something sound extremely urgent and attempt to get immediate, impulse buy in. Once they do, they get your precious information and gain access to computer system or get that impulse sale, they desire.  However, reasonable people will step back and consider, what is being asked or whether they even have a need for the product.  They catch and stop fraudsters in their tracks.   So I encourage all, don't make irrational decisions on whim or on the word of someone who has something to gain by your urgent buy in.  Step back and be reasonable. Don't give that caller your credit card number, social security number,  userId or password. Don't buy that worthless limited time trinket made of pot metal or toxic plastic.  One of the most interesting things I find about the Great Reset...

Keeping it real. The first post of this blog is meant to be satire on journalism and spark thought. It's funny how media sources that are supposed to be objectively sharing the news of what happened, have become story crafters pushing their narrative while minimizing everyone else's voice. Now it's not just media doing it, it's large social media conglomerates entering the picture and misguiding their users through increasingly subjective censorship. Using the first item ‘Number 13’ as an example (refer to previous post ).    Yes, the one that starts with good ol' Bill Gates. Yes that part is conspiracy theory despite circumstantial evidence. Yes, he is the founder of Microsoft a big tech company that has lots to lose in the new Trade Deal. And Yes he has connections to a virology lab in Wuhan. But we have no proof that the virus was released from that lab or that Bill Gates had any involvement in such a release.   My hope is that he is a well-meaning citizen of the...

The Pondering Man & Random Thoughts begins on Friday the 13th in the month of November 2020.   For my first post, since it is both Friday the 13th and in the month of November, I would like to start with a horror filled list of things for which I am thankful.   It's not meant to be fact, fiction or conspiracy theory.
